Peter’s interview with Good Evening Shetland.

Peter works amongst the poorest in our community, bringing healing and practical help to addicts, as well as working as a full-time care worker in Walter & Joan Gray Eventide Home, Scalloway.

Peter says: “I like to think I have a reasonable understanding of the current issues surrounding this area, and the opinions generally held by the public.  My life was completely transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and through the power of His Holy Spirit.  I wish to stand in this ward and the policies I support are available in my joint election leaflet.”

Peter Jamieson is standing in Ward 4 and Andrew Shearer is standing in Ward 5.

Vote number 1 for Peter Jamieson
In 2007, more than 300 first preference votes were given to candidates who were not elected.  These would have been enough to elect Peter, and we suggest that you vote number 1 for Peter.  If he does not succeed, your vote will not be wasted because your second vote will automatically transfer to your next choice.  This means that your choice will count twice.  This may not work if you do it the other way round; a second vote for the SCP will simply not register if Peter does not have enough number 1 votes.
