Lib Dem Scottish leader does not understand

1 December 2011

The Lib Dem Scottish leader has said that he does not understand Christian concerns for marriage.

Responding to the Marriage for Scotland campaign, Scottish Lib Dem leader Willie Rennie said: “I am very disappointed that senior and respected figures like Cardinal O’Brien and Gordon Wilson could be so intolerant.  Liberal Democrats support the SNP government’s effort to bring fairness and equality to marriage and we urge the first minister to stand firm against this campaign.  What I find difficult to understand is why those opposed to equal marriage want to impose their views on everyone else when we are not seeking to impose our views on them.”

If he does not understand, is he fit to lead a political party?  Has it not occurred to him that the homosexual lobby is trying to impose its views on the rest of society?

Equality and Diversity regulations are forcing public sector employees, who have been been on strike for their pensions, to submit to the homosexual lobby’s insistence that the rest of society should endorse and legitimise their lifestyle - not simply tolerate it.

Does Mr Rennie not understand that this imposition is supported by the Lib Dem Deputy Prime Minister?  Does he not know that all the major parties have the same agenda, driven forward by the Prime Minister in Westminster?

This is a wilful blindness.  It is disingenuous to suggest that equality, toleration, and liberation (homosexual buzz words) are all on one side in the argument.  The missing word, still to make its appearance, is Fraternity - and the next stage in this international humanistic campaign will be to ostracise as seditious those who will not join their fraternity - Christians as well as others.  It is taking the public a long time to recognise this antichristian agenda for what it is.  It took the Germans over a decade to waken up to what had happened in the 1930s, and the French in 1789.
