Scottish Christian Party Annual Conference 2011

23 August 2011

The first SCP Newsletter gives details of the SCP Annual Conference to be held in Glasgow on 8th October 2011.

We plan a quarterly Newsletter to keep you in touch with the activities of the SCP, and our first Summer Newsletter has been produced to co-incide with our first Annual Conference in the Autumn.  It is available for download at the links below, along with the Conference Agenda, and these carry details of the venue, time and programme.

Dr Donald Boyd, the Leader of the Scottish Christian Party, commented: “At the Conference we will be discussing the way forward for the Party, and I look forward to seeing as many Christians as possible there. A good number of people were involved in developing the Manifesto for the recent Scottish election, and we will be pleased to have feedback from many more of you.  We will be preparing for the local council elections in 2012.  Most people have ideas which they would like to see implemented, but they are unsure how to make them happen. Politics is about making things happen, and this is your opportunity to have input.”

Click here for a map for directions.  Those planning to travel by car and use SatNav systems should input the Postcode G21 4SX.

Entrance is free, but we recommend booking your place (see the flyer below for details).  The public will be welcome to attend (until we have crowd control issues!) but only members will be able to vote.

We hope you will be able to support the Party either by becoming a member, associate member (free) or by donation (see the PayPal button in the sidebar, in the right hand margin of the website) to cover costs involved with Party activities.  A membership application form is available in the margin under “How to join the Party” and you can learn more here.  Feel free to contact Margaret Tassie, Office Secretary, on 01698 536421 to discuss any issues about membership or the Conference.
