If you are a Christian and you voted Labour on the Regional List in Central Scotland, then your vote counted for nothing towards a Regional MSP – all 112,596 votes were wasted votes.  You would have been better giving this wasted vote to the Christian Party.  For the explanation see here.

Many Christians complain that they do not have a Party for which they can conscientiously vote.

It does not have to be this way.  On this page you will see a List of Scottish Christian Party candidates in your Region.

We are looking for Christians in your Region of Scotland who would like to engage in the political process. This can be any level of activity - from voting for us, to supporting us, attending meetings, speaking for us, or being a candidate. Whatever your talents and interests, there is something you can do for the Kingdom of Christ through the Scottish Christian Party. Please get in touch with us to find out more.

Youcef Nadarkhani received a death sentence in Iran for apostasy (abandoning Islam - which he says he never followed). He is currently on trial in Rasht. He could be executed by hanging at any time. Over 50,000 people have already emailed the Iranian embassies around the world – add your voice to theirs and deliver Nadarkhani. SCP website details.

Stop homosexual 'marriage'

The Scottish Government consultation about redefining marriage to include homosexual couples has finished. The documentation is explained here. Christians are encouraged to write to their MSPs to register their opposition to any legislation along this line, and to write to the SNP Government to encourage them to drop this idea. We already have polygamy recognised by UK legislation. The SCP response to the SNP Government's consultation is available for download.

Help for the small man

We will fight for the consumer, forgotten in this climate of spending cuts but rising prices. We propose a radical solution to consumer debt to help the consumer by forcing more prudent lending policies. It is too easy to hold consumers to ransom.
