North East Scotland Region

If you are a Christian and you voted Green Party on the Regional List in North East Scotland Region, then all 8148 votes did not get you an MSP.  You should consider giving this vote to the Christian Party next time.  For an explanation see here.

Many Christians complain that they do not have a Party for which they can conscientiously vote.

It does not have to be this way.  On this page you will see a List of Scottish Christian Party candidates in your Region.

We are looking for Christians in your Region of Scotland who would like to engage in the political process. This can be any level of activity - from voting for us, to supporting us, attending meetings, speaking for us, or being a candidate. The Highlands and Islands Brother Andrew campaign can be copied in this Region of Scotland in order to double the number of Christian votes here.

Danny the Axe-lander’s oil raid

The Lib Dem Treasury Secretary Danny Alexander is being blamed for the cancelling of two North Sea investment programmes with about 40,000 current and future jobs being put at risk.

The sudden taxing of North Sea oil caught the industry by surprise. It was claimed that Alexander was “almost bragging” that the plan was his idea.

Just as Gordon Brown plundered the Pension funds and the Utilities, so our present government looks around for the most profitable businesses in order to filch their profits.  This is not government.  It is stealing.  It demoralises companies, ruins investment plans and it deserves to be punished at the polls.

Conservative attitudes in North East Scotland

Mary Scanlon cited the support that Alex Johnstone had given to the practicising homosexual minister in the Church of Scotland.  Possibly Christians want to find out his views on homosexual marriage before voting for him.  Mr Johnstone is a North East Scotland Regional List candidate for the Conservative Party.

Youcef Nadarkhani received a death sentence in Iran for apostasy (abandoning Islam - which he says he never followed). He is currently on trial in Rasht. He could be executed by hanging at any time. Stop homosexual 'marriage'

The Scottish Government consultation about redefining marriage to include homosexual couples has finished. The documentation is explained here. Christians are encouraged to write to their MSPs to register their opposition to any legislation along this line, and to write to the SNP Government to encourage them to drop this idea. We already have polygamy recognised by UK legislation. The SCP response to the SNP Government's consultation is available for download.

We will fight for the consumer, forgotten in this climate of spending cuts but rising prices. We propose a radical solution to consumer debt to help the consumer by forcing more prudent lending policies. It is too easy to hold consumers to ransom.
